Hybrid Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order (MTS-MTO)Scheduling Model in Multi-Product Production System

In production process, scheduling isan important role in meeting the orders and reducing cost. This process becomes more complicated when factory produces various products. Scheduling model can be divided into two groups: make-to-stock (MTS) make-to-order (MTO). General constraint MTSmodel is limited capacity inventory work aims to propose hybrid MTS-MTO that improve lead time maintain low inventory. this work, we three models for multi-product system. these models, modify several algorithms are used computer system, such as shortest remaining time(SRT), processing time(SPT), Round Robin(RR). These (s, S)-first-come-first served (FCFS)model, modified Q)-SPT model, Q)-SRT model. then implemented simulation. simulation compare proposed with existing item-by-item based S)model. Based on result, perform better than basic MTS The Q)-modified SPTmodel performs best creating high completion ratio, time, ratio. certain condition, our 344 percent 19.8 3 ratio compared
